A cover from Kris Kristofferson, who recorded it in 1972 as "Why Me" for the "Jesus Was A Capricorn" album. Larry Norman's cover version was recorded in 2003-04, but originally intended for "Streams Of White Light", Pt. 2 (see the discography). Norman's cover version can also be found on the CD "The Salt Of The Sea".
